WOW, its Chinese New Year once again. Its a time where people exchanges blessings and well wishes. Was just thinking about when we Christians as a family share our joy and experiences of our spiritual walk with one another... hardly for me... This thot was trigger by sis Jean in my last serangoon cell. Managed to do that yesterday and am glad to be able to share my faith/life with my fellow brother. Anyway so many things have happened and more things are just waiting on my event list.

I had Spicy Turkey Ham with Cheese, it was serve with CHILI PADIs, EXCELLENT. My Colleagues had Chicken Cordon Bleu & Shepherd Pie. Nobody tried the famous lamb rack that day, too filling and the price quite steep as well I guess.

First of all a very happy new year to all those who still bother to come read my blog. This blog is now used for my home page cuz all the links that I need is there. It been so many months since I last I logged in and I feel obligated to post up this post for the upcoming year. Point style as usual but with pictures this time. Hi people,

01) 1st on the list is SORRY for the late late update. You guys & gals know who you are. Thank you so much for your unweavering support, CASS, Grace Lyn, JN, Jacob and many many more. This post will highlight the events that happen during the past month. 14 points in total. Good luck!!!

02) Went National Stadium to catch the Liverpool vs Singapore match LIVE. Singapore got trounced 6-1. 1st half was quite even though. The atmosphere is amazing. Trip to Anfield in the pipeline. Weixian and Han and few others all quite keen. We'll see how, $$$ dun drop from heaven.

03) SOYMILK cell started after our long long "break". Thank Mandy for opening up her house. Sheena for the cookie baking session with thanksgiving (& crap as well). Had a wonderful time of fun and encouragement as well. Photos and video are all saved but too much effort to edit and load into blogger. Will show u all someday when u people visit me ok. Hint hint. Just pure lazy, haha ! ! !

04) At work got "volunteered" to do a group dance cum skid for a leaving Director. Definately not my cup of tea. Thank God all went well. Got a video as well.

05) Bible reading programn group just got bigger. We are at Leviticus 21 now. Honestly, Kevin and me are lagging a bit. Sheena and Shermaine doing much better. We decided to meet up once a month for our "COFFEE TIME" as well as encourage and support each other.

06) As Paul and Don went for the Asia Mission Forum, adult cell was cancelled for that week. Took the oppotunity to have dinner with Peter & family 2gather with Auntie Jo. Had Curry Fish head followed by dessert. Both at Geylang.

07) Had a wonderful time of Karaoke at the Airport Staff Lounge with Sheena, Shermaine, Joel, Klem and Wx. Place was excellent, selection of songs good. 4 hours DEFINATELY not enuff for all of them, next time will try to book longer although 1 staff allocated 3 hr per slot nia. Klem now proposed once a month go, see how la hor... .. Dotz

08) Had a pleasent surprise ar work last week. Was walking back to office when i bump into QI -XIANG and family. They just got back from their holiday trip to Taiwan after picking him up from Japan. They went Imperial Resturant at Crown Plaza, invited me as well, but got work la, decline lo. Should have just accept it right!!!

09) Joel Osbourne is back in town with some Jap. Had lunch and Dinner with them when they touch down. Dinner at Suntec b4 moving to Esplanade and Merlion. Did not know there is a viewing gallery at the esplanade roof, cool view!!!

10) Dota session almost every sunday afternoon, not that I am sick of it, hope that the after session will be more fruitful. But it really is a good bonding time, esp with the army guys!!! Zenas, Daniel & Aaron. All the best, ORD very fast wan la. HA HA, easy to say though.

11) SCV was down, 4 days without cable (won't die la). Soccer season starting this weekend(2 days ago), so no choice but to get them down. Weekly dose of BPL back liao, shiok. Yesterday WX and Klem came over for the Man Utd match as well as the Liv match. WX today no work while Klem slacking in reservist.

12) Need to prepare worship for this Sunday, also need to prepare sharing for SOYMILK this Sat. A bit tiring though. Is that considered complaining, HAHA!!!

13) Can't help but feel that I had left some events out of this post. OLD liao la, if have remind me ok!!!

PACKED WEEK ! ! !

Don't know how to title this post also.

Random stuff that happen this week.

01) Harry Potter movie with Naveen and gang. Did not expect too much as the book always almost surpasses the movie(95%). Popular got sale for bk 7, $10 only, buy lo. But I never collect books on an individual basis. Therefore book 1-6 will come sooner or later.

02) Visited the island of the chief tax collector - Lazarus Island. Went there to inspect some building and the equipments. What building and equipments is for me to know and for you to find out.

03) Played street soccer with Klem and friends. Followed by dinner at Simpang Bedok, 1030pm, ordered up-sized ICED LONGAN, shiok. Body still aching now ! ! !

04) Attended a fellowship gathering organised by a few christians from different churches in the company. We meet up for a while once a week during lunch time in an unused secret little conference room. Mostly we share about how God has been real in our work enviroment coupled with prayer and/or worship. Quite an experience and nice to know that God and His family is in and around our everyday life.

05) Bible reading still going on as planned. Glad that more people volunteered to be involved in the programn as well, more motivation and accountabiblity too. No obligations to follow strictly too as the objective is to know God better and not for the sake of completeing the bible.

06) Stupid blogger CLEARED my previous draft, therefor half of this post is actually typed TWICE . Added 5 songs to break the monotony of just reading my blog, click fwd to access next song. Playlist is below this post.

07) For those KPO ppl, tell you why I choose NINJA as the song player skin . As a kid, always role-play ninja one. Always fold those paper shurukens and wield the plastic sword. DOTZ...

SCRAP THRU ! ! !

Well well well, theory test for Airfield Permit is so very the difficult. I was so so worried that I will fail, but thank God I scrap thru it. B4 the result, I scanned thru the passing rate for the past tests and realize failure rate is approximately 80%, (x_x)'''. Tomorrow is the practical, dunno how iI will fare man, so long never drive liao, only consolation is that I am driving AUTO. Well also got arrowed to do a grp performance for DG farewell. All in all, adapting well in CAAS.

SO far still on target for reading the bible, finished 25 chapters and tonnes more to go. Hope to hang on till the end. Glad that Junny could join in the fun. We will catch up with U sooon yea!!!

Following my sister to run the Stan Chart Marathon, book already... ... Got to start training, any way IPPT in Sept/Oct. Incentive to start training as well.

THE BIBLE IN 365 DAYS... ...

How long I've been a Christian, decades now I think.

And if you did my facebook quiz u shld know i have never finished reading the bible from alpha to omega. One reason being I lazy and there is really no motivation for doing it. Well at least now Kevin also think that we shld start. So no procastination (suppose start 1 June one, hee hee). If anyone wants to join us in this little project is more than welcome. GENESIS 1-4 is the word for the day (13th JUL 09) ! ! !

On Saturday, finally decided word portion for SOYMILK cell too, after shopping with Kevin for the whole afternoon. Have "Pia Kie" for coffee break then went dinner with Naveen at Tampines ONE "say cheez". Not a bad place to makan, will go back more oft than not ! ! !

SCV is down, anyway today sermon is on NOT being NEGATIVE. SO here I am doing something POSITIVE by blogging, HA HA... ...

IN FLOOD OF VISITORS... ...

So many people visiting Singapore this year. Those that have come and gone are P'Robert, P'Un, P'Pui. Jun Ai and Oan popping by this week abeit different days. This is excluding Kong Jo transit and many more that I dunno... ... This is only the 1st half of the year, many more to come I guess. Meeting Naveen, Jun Ai, Joce and Zach for dinner on Thurs nite and I ask her buy mu-ru-ku snack for me.

Well, work wise I been slacking, no airport pass cannot do anything. 1st July getting my airport pass, 14th July take airfield driving permit course, 16th July TEST... How long since I heard that word, long been out of my dictionary. So till then, honeymoon period, enjoy while it last.

Fellow intern Zoe also taking her 3rd interview 2moro, pray for her if u wish.

Life without a computer . . . . . .

Well, here is the next update.

Right now I am in church borrowing the computer as you all know by now mine is spoilt. Realised that I have so much more "spare" time to do other stuff when my computer is down.

My room is cleaned, more books are read, more shows are watched. More phonecalls rather than msn. Is it a good thing or not I let you people decide for yourself.

Nothing much been happening recently and sorry to all SOYMILK-ians. No emails reminders will be sent out till my comp is back in working conditions (anyone wants to buy me a new comp, kidding!!!)

Will be popping by camp Christine later on in the day to visit Moulmein KIDs camp!!! Time to catch up with old time friends too, shld be cool with the BBQ atmosphere.

My computer is SPOILT ! ! !

Ok, sorry for the NO SHOW... ...

I was in the army for reservist for the past 1 1/2 weeks, so was not accessible. As usual my foot started to rot again, sigh. Worst of all, my SCV and Computer SPOILT when i got back home!!! So tired and no entertainment, double sigh... ...

So the kind, generous, magnanimous (she say herself one) Jia Ni lent me her comp after cell to update all my stuff and to check my emails. But best of all, I fianlly got back my 3 books and DVD that I lent her some time back.

Ya, before i forget, we had a wonderful dinner and BEN AND JERRY ice cream after cell grp.

Thats all for tonight, let me continue to enjoy my chinese tea. LIVERPOOL LEADING by the way.

OUT OF THE HOSPITAL! PRAY FOR TEST RESULTS

What a blessing it was to walk out of the hospital today. I praise God that I wasn't afraid going into the surgery. Honestly, I was a little unaware of the post surgery pain. That surprised me. After the surgery I was pretty talkative with friends and family in the recovery area. I was feeling like, "Hey, this isn't too bad." That was Thursday, then came FRIDAY and SATURDAY! Man, I felt terrible after the painkiller from the surgery wore off and the soreness set it. I felt so bad I didn't want to talk with anyone. All I wanted to do was push the morphine button and float off into painless land. Thursday and Friday nights were the longest nights in my life. Time just seemed to crawl by every time I looked at the clock. My son Branson said, "Man Daddy, you looked so great the first day. You look terrible now." : ) The little guy has a way with words.

Saturday night the pain start to subside. I slept great that night. Sunday morning I started walking. I walked up and down the long hallway 3 times to get my body working again. Normal body functions returned and I kept feeling better. The most painful part of the whole experience was when they took out the tube in my side for drainage of the area around the pancreas. I thought I was going to faint it was so painful. Later I asked why it was so painful and they said, "Because the tube went pretty deep down inside you." So I'm glad to have that behind me.

The biggest shock was when the nurse removed the bandage over the wound. I looked down and saw an 8-10-inch wound with 22 metal staples in it. They explained that the staples decrease scarring and aid in the healing process. I should get these staples out in a few days.

On Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008 I have an appointment to see the surgeon and learn the test results on the tumor. So, please continue to pray that it will not be cancerous.

SUCCESSFUL SURGERY!

Robert was wheeled from his room to the surgery room at 9 am this morning. He had a sccessful surgery and was out of the surgery room at around 11.30 am. After resting for a few hours, he was transferred to the Intermediate Care Unit for observation. He will be there for a night.

The surgeon took out the tail of his pancreas and his spleen. The tumor taken out with the tail of the pancreas will be sent for tests. The results will be out next week.

Thank you for your prayers and concern. And join us in thanksgiving to God for a successful surgery!

NOT OUT OF THE WOODS YET - PLEASE KEEP PRAYING!

There are shout of joy and praise going up to our Father from around the world because of the report I sent out yesterday saying there are no signs of cancer on the head of the pancreas and that on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2008, the surgeon won't have to remove the whole pancreas, but only cut off the tail which has a tumor on it. I have received an abundance of short emails praising God. As I was reading through them I got a sense that some may be tempted to think that all is well now and stop praying. However, we are not out of the woods yet.

After the surgery to remove the tumor at the tail end of the pancreas, the tumor will be tested for cancer. If it is cancerous, then I will probably have to undergo chemotherapy treatments in case it has begun to spread. Even if the tumor at the tail end shows no signs of cancer, I will still need to do follow-up P.E.T. Scans in the months/years ahead to make sure the "atypical" cells at the head of the pancreas do not turn cancerous.

Some are still asking how to financially help with the medical expenses. Without us ever asking a single person to help financially, God has moved the hearts of so many to give toward our medical expenses. It is the responsible thing for me to inform you that I have discussed with David Culp, an elder from the Westover Hills Church of Christ in Austin, Texas (who is currently with me here in Singapore) that if the giving exceeds our current medical expenses, then the remainder will be set aside into a medical fund for my future expenses since these funds are being donated for my medical expenses.

In Asia, the Bedok Church of Christ in Singapore has agreed to be a collecting church. They have requested that all cheques be payable to "Church of Christ- Bedok" and put "for Robert Reagan" behind the check. In the U.S.A., the Westover Hills Church of Christ in Austin, TX has agreed to be a collecting church. God has used this situation to stir hearts to prayer. Whatever the outcome of the operation and the tumor testing, may God give me the faith to trust "Thy will be done." It would appear that God is beginning the grant my request for 30 more years of service in His Kingdom. (By the way, my son Branson asked, "Daddy, why didn't you ask for 40 years? : ) I told him I didn't want to be greedy.)

So, please keep praying! Maybe this "not totally out of the woods yet" feeling will keep me thankful to God each day for the precious gift of life.

RESULTS OF THE P.E.T. SCAN AND THE BIOPSY

I've been overwhelmed by the love of thousands of people from around the world who have been praying, fasting and pleading my case before our loving heavenly Father. When the doctor told me on Sept. 17, 2008 that I have a cancerous tumor in my pancreas I experienced shock and fear and I was driven to the point of facing the fact that this might be the time when God is calling me home. I set me house/life in order and asked everyone to start praying. I'm amazed at how many people have told me, "I don't feel this is your end. I feel this is only a time of testing and that God will use you for another 30 years as you have requested."

A few days ago, just before going under anesthesia for the biopsy, I had one thought going through my mind over and over, "God is in control. God is in control. God is in control." Today, even though I was anxious and my hands were sweaty while waiting in the surgeon's office to hear the results of the P.E.T. Scan and biopsy, I had one thought going through my mind over and over, "Thy will be done. Thy will be done. Thy will be done."

When the surgeon entered the room, the first word out of his mouth was, "Negative!" Then he explained that the biopsy on the mass at the head of the pancreas showed no signs of malignancy! So, this is an answer to prayer that the whole pancreas does not need to be removed, but only the tail end!

The biopsy did show some "atypical" cells. So, we will have to do more tests in the future to check on these cells, but it does not necessarily mean they will develop into cancer cells.
On Thursday, Oct. 2, 2008 I will have a two-hour surgery to remove a tumor near the end of the pancreas. A biopsy will then be performed on this tumor to determine if it is cancerous. Please pray that it will not be cancerous.

After receiving this good news, I went to meet my family (Jan, Erika and Branson) who had just flown in from Chiang Mai, Thailand. I was so happy to share with them the good report.

God is graciously answering the prayers of faith from around the world and I feel so excited to tell you this good news. Please continue to pray for a safe surgery and quick recovery. Also, pray that there will be no cancer in the tumor near the tail of the pancreas. Thank you for partnering with our family during this difficult time in our lives.

The next update will be done by one of my friends on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2008 after the surgery.
(For those here in Singapore, as I will be recovering from the effects of surgery and anesthesia, I would like to request no visitors at the hospital until Saturday, 4 Oct. 2008.)

SURGERY DEFINITELY NEEDED, BIOPSY WILL DETERMINE HOW MUCH

Today I met with the surgeon. Wonderful man, great doctor. He said the the tumor at the tail of my pancreas must be removed because it is blocking the duct and it is growing. If the "mass" or tumor at the head of the pancreas is cancerous, then the whole pancreas will need to be removed. This surgery would take about 6 hours. If that happens I will instantly become what is called a brittle diabetic, meaning I will have to self-regulate insulin injections regularly, plus I will have to rely on digestive enzymes to digest my food. It will be a hard life, but at least I'll get to see my kids grow up.

However, I'm praying that mass at the head of my pancreas will not be cancerous and that only the tail will need to be removed. That would leave enough of my pancreas to hopefully function well enough to live a fairly normal life.

Prayer focus items:
1. I will get the biopsy results on Tuesday. Please pray the mass at the head of my pancreas in not cancerous.
2. Pray for my preparation for surgery which should take place sometime within the next week (depending on the biopsy test results).
3. Pray for Jan, Erika and Branson who will be traveling down to Singapore for the surgery.

Today I went back to the hospital here in Singapore. The doctor sedated me and then went down my throat with a scope and took some tissue samples of the mass in the head of my pancreas. I should get the results back in a few days as to whether or not it is a cancerous tumor. Enough about medical stuff. Let me share some feelings...

I feel overwhelmed by the love of God and the way He keeps honoring me:

- God has honored me so greatly by having people from all around the world sending up continual prayers on my behalf.

- God has honored me by having so many kids and teachers give Jan, Erika and Branson so many comforting hugs and words of encouragement.

- God has honored me by having the doctors and nurses at the hospital make me feel so special and for providing some of the highest quality medical care here in Asia.

- God has honored me by the financial sacrifice of so many on my behalf.

- God has honored me by surrounding me with such loving brethren here in Singapore.

Please pray for my continued rest and well being before surgery, which will contribute to more speedy recovery after surgery.

Health Update on and by Robert Reagan ==== Wed., Sept, 24, 2008

I arrived here in Singapore last night. Today I saw the main surgeon who discussed in great detail with me about my situation. At this point it is for sure that I will need surgery. The testing that they are doing this week will determine how much surgery. Today they took blood for testing and did a PET Scan. Tomorrow they will do a biopsy. It will take a few days to get back all the results. In the mean time, please keep praying for me.

Jan and the kids will come down to Singapore once we know a date for the surgery which will probably be sometime next week. Please keep Jan, Erika and Branson in your prayers also.

With all the running around I had to do in Chiang Mai before flying down here, and all the running around today and the next few days, I'm feeling physically tired. I'm trying to avoid another pancreatitis attack which can be triggered by stress and tiredness. So, I plan to get more rest these next few days before the surgery. I won't be as usual running around Singapore visiting all the great brethren here. I will be worshiping with the Bedok Church of Christ this Sunday. If you want to come by the church building to visit, I will be there until about 4 p.m.

I am back here after some time. So many things have happened in the past week.

I believe by now most of you would have known what have happened to Uncle Robert.

RANTINGS... ... BEWARE ! ! !

In all honesty, I don't where to start... ... LOST ! ! !

Anyway, work is terrible. Saw the worst in human nature around my workplace. I have never liked politics and I seriously hope it will never ever ever happen in chruch. How in the world can some pleople say bad things about another person and yet still be "friend" in front. Seen the both sides and its SCARY!!! Just like Jekyll and Hyde, but the difference is that this person was sane and not under the influence of any drugs. Worst of all, I am a paid employee and I seriously dunno how to conduct myself in such scenario... Want to siam also cannot, in the end endure the ugliness of human nature. Best part you know what, the person is a "christian" and regularly attend church and cell. What to do, no choice, work is work, still must face the person. I must admit I am not the best employee around and I think the verse in Philippians 2:14-16 speak loudest and clearest to me.

"Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life — in order that I may boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor for nothing." Phil 2:14-16

Ok, thats it end of rantings... ...

Irony is that for the book study of Mark, my group challenge is to see FAITH in my fellow brothers and sisters. Well, God has been good, there are many instances of faith that I saw. Will share more during cell. Just like to praise God and commend my brothers and sister of faith. Man of faith, Mr Khor, Mr Tan, Mr Kon. Women of faith, Ms Goh, Ms Lee.

As SOYMILK continue to progress into the third year, I pray that Heb 10:23-25 will be held closely by all of us. As we continue grow as a grp phyisically, emotionally and spiritually. Mind set and values will also continue to change. Therefore in the mist of all these changes in mindset and enviroment, may we continue to hold on to our faith as ONE. Also may we learn to spur one another towards love and good deeds. God will always make the path straight for those who love Him.

"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Heb 10:23-25

Well, I guess sorry won't help for the LONG delay in my update on this blog.

Letter of FAITH; MICHI

"I want to say thank you so much to everyone for praying for me. I could feel your prayers as I met with my family yesterday. I am totaly overwhelmed by loving messages from my BIG christian family around the world. You all have encouraged me so much. I can't see God but I feel like he is training me to be a strong christian.

My family has very high expectations about everything. If I don’t satisfy their expectations then they will be very upset. They will not be able to accept me. I don’t blame them, because they don’t know any other way. But they cannot give me any freedom for my future. The way they love me is by trying to decide my path for me. It is really difficult for them to accept something different. My two older sisters got married and the responsibility of taking over our house and taking care of our parents is left to me.

As some of you know it is 'OBON 'time in Japan now.

We do some traditional way to worship ancestors. I don't think Japanese gods or spirits are real. We do these traditions because everyone does or because it's just our custom. We don't even think if it is real or not. We just do it because it is culture.Christianity is so real. God is living. I feel him everyday now.I don't want to be so sad about Japanese way but I feel a lot of meaning in the way to live as Christian more than Japanese cultural way to live.

The more I talk with my parents the more I feel like I am a trouble maker. I think ' Why do I know and believe what they can't understand!' 'Why can't I just obey their expectations!' It is hard. because I LOVE my family.When we had our family meeting, my dad couldn’t even stay to listen. He said “It’s not worth listening to” and left. It was really difficult to talk with them because their hearts are completely closed. They cannot listen to me or accept me at this point. Please keep praying that God will open their hearts. They’ve asked me to separate myself from my Christian life, to move out of Judith’s house, live on my own, study other religions and then see if I still want to be a Christian. I am praying for God to guide me and to show me each step from here.

Maybe I’m going to cause trouble in my family, but I know it is better. I don’t regret anything. But it breaks my heart. My family laughs at me and treats me like I’m not good enough, like I’m a heretic. My life or existense in my family is so difficult. I wonder why I was born in this family. But they love me and because they are so stubborn they can not see a different way. They are afraid to be open about religion. They don’t even want to come to church and check or try to study about Christianity. They are totally closed. They feel like they are normal Japanese in their thinking and my thinking is strange. So I have to understand them, not them understand me.

But don't worry...I am ok!!!!

I promise you I won't give up. I know what I want to do. I know what I need. God knows that the most. I am sure he will make best way.

Maybe I can not be a Christian for a long time, but I will continue this lifestyle and I will continue to know about God more and I won’t stop. Because I know that there are people who are cheering me on and understand me, I can continue. I love Chrisitianity, I love God and I love this way. I am so honest and I can not tell lie. So I hope little by little my family will ask me, or I can show them God’s love. Please keep praying and keep encouraging me not to be weak and not to give up. Thank you so much! Please let me know how I can pray for you.

Updates from Japan

Michi and I would like to thank everyone for the prayers that have been lifted up on her behalf over the past 10 days.

She is getting ready to go to her parents’ house sometime in the afternoon on the 15th. Their official family meeting won’t happen until sometime on the 16th, but she’s sure the two days will be filled with conversations of her parents trying to convince her to change her mind and possibly to move back home.

Michi is thankful that her sisters’ husbands will not be in the official meeting on Saturday. Praise God for that answered prayer.

She has been encouraged by your prayers, emails, scriptures, and testimonies. Thank you for sharing with her. From August 11-13, we had our national summer church retreat in Japan. Michi wasn’t planning on going, but she was asked to share about the Thai/Japan exchange program. So she went for the day on Tuesday and ended up being able to spend the night there. We were amazed by how God worked everything out, including placing her in just the right place at the dinner table, surrounded by several young, wise and loving preachers, who listened to her story and gave her advice. They also decided to share her story with everyone, asking for their prayers and had her come forward to be prayed for with her friends standing around her. It was a powerful moment and image that will stand with her through this difficult time. Afterwards several people shared with her their stories of experiencing similar struggles.

Her sister works at an elementary school in Mito and the Assistant English teacher there is a Christian. We are praying that God may use that situation to help her sister to be more understanding.

Michi says “I am still fearful and worried that my family may break my heart. I know that I may not be able to answer their questions and I’m ok with that, but I’m worried that they won’t be able to accept me not answering and they will push me to answer even if I don’t know what to say. I want to be able to say what I really feel in my heart, not just what they want to hear. I want to be calm and to show them respect and love, but it’s difficult to say those things in Japanese.

I don’t know what is going to happen but I’m sure God will give me the words and strength and I just need to pass through this.My family has already started their journey to search for him. I took 5 years on my journey to get to this point, maybe they will take more than 5 years, but God will do something through this meeting and little by little God can make them interested in Him. I don’t feel like I’m facing my enemy in this meeting, but I know that God will set tomorrow and I just need to go through it.I heard many horrible stories about young Japanese trying to explain to their families about wanting to become a Christian. Even if something really bad happens to me, I still have many people who encourage me and I can still be happy about this struggle. It’s going to train me and help me to grow.

Don’t worry about me so much because I’m going to be ok.I’ve been praying so much and know that God will take care of me.I am so thankful for the prayers of my family from all around the world. I appreciate it so very much.

Letter from Japan ! ! ! Prayer Needed

Below is an email that I received from Judith, a missionary in Japan. She is Joel Osbourne co-partner in Sendai. Please pray for Michi, Kaori and Miki esp those who know them personally during AOF2.

Over the past few weeks Michi has been seriously considering getting baptized. A few weeks ago she called her parents to tell them she wanted to be a Christian, but they told her to wait. On Sat. night her oldest sister called trying to convince her not to be a Christian, telling her she'll face persucution and cause problems for the family.

In the end her sister asked her to convince the family that it's OK for her to become a Christian in a family meeting on August 16th. It will be Michi's parents, her two sisters and their husbands against Michi. She is quite burdened with this and knows that by becoming a Christian it will likely cause problems between her and her family the rest of her life.

She doesn't know how to answer their questions, she's afraid of what they might try to do to her and she's sad that this is creating such a huge barrier between herself and her family.

She's told me it's ok to ask for prayers on her behalf. I ask that if you are willing to committ to praying daily at least until the 16th that you pray that the hearts of her family members will be open, God will give her words to explain her decision, God will protect her, and will give her an amazing sense of peace that only he can give.

I'd also like to ask you to pray for two other girls from cell group, Kaori and Miki. They are both getting close to making the decision to becoming a Christian and are certain their families will not agree.

Please pray that Michi, Kaori and Miki will not give up inspite of their family oppostion, but that they will have strength and peace from the Lord and that they will choose Him.

If anyone would like to choose a specific day of prayer and perhaps fasting for these three girls, especially between now and the 16th, please let me know so we can specifically pray for you that day.

If you have anything to share from your time of prayer/fasting.... a scripture, an encouraging word, etc, feel free to send it directly to them or to me. Also, I think it would be a huge encouragement to them just to know you are praying.

Sigh, spend so much time trying to solve the music issue but to no success. So much time wasted till I dun feel like blogging anymore. BUT, i think discipline and perserverance is one thing I need to streach myself in!!!

I am glad that SOYMILK is doing a reflective study on the book of MARK. Been encouraged by all the honest sharing, struggles, thankgiving and life challenges of each and every bro/sis in SOYMILK . Its is such a Joy to been able to grow 2gather in the Lord as a family. The challenge after this week was to teach as Jesus Taught, last week was love as He love!!! Cell was at Cheryl place this week and the parents are such good host!!! We had dinner under the sky and SINGING was awesome. Joeru and Don sang a duet. Don FINALLY ate durain on his 36th birthday. Long journey back home though.

Sunday, I conducted a carom competition in GCOC. Small grp turn up but we all had fun!!! Taught Daniel Han how to play SKIP-BO as well, I thot most ppl in SOYMILK knew how to play. I WAS WRONG!!!

Be reflecting on my spiritual life and the road is not all that rosy!!! Many decision and situation that I have to face and may God grant me His strength to pull thru. This song has been in my head since last week and just thot that I will share it with you.

Its been such a long time since I last blog...

Nothing to blog bout work, just that been slacking a bit too much for comfort.

Been running around for my friend funeral. Got the terrible news early tues morning although most of us, the "zhu peng gou you" was more or less expecting it. BUT we thot he got half a year more, then he went... Brought lunch for the family on both day since so near my work place. Carry a COFFIN for the 1st time in my life on thur morning. During the event also saw me drove automatic car the most too, the closer friends of his have more impt stuff to settle. Drove both Mit Lancer and Honda Civic as well. Nothing to be happy about it though, IRONY or PARADOX, SIGH!!!

Cell at Jai Ni place, so near my house, so happy!!! I did accountability time but never in the world did i expect that portiom tp take up an hour or so. But it was a time where we share our life with one another. Went thru MARK 1 for the word and more in depth sharing were done in our small group. We all when pasta mania for dinner at downtown east E hub. Grace Lyb left her phone and purse behind w/o realising it, ULTIMATE!!! Home sweet Home.

Monday early morning went to the airport to send Kong Jo off to Aus for his studies. Reach there at 7am, was the 1st again, nothing to be happy bout, means wait longer, HAHA!!! We had a traditional hearty b'fast of buttered toast w 2 half-boiled eggs. Nice to see Kevin made a mess of CRUSHING the eggs!!! Off to work, Barely made it on time, but heck la, I boss there!!!

Went to Stream of Praise concert with Su Ann, Veron and Joel CHIANG. Whats that u may ask??? Well, they are a praise and worship group that have blessed many ppl thru their songs. BTW its a chinese praise team est in 1993 and I knew them sice my sec sch days donkey years back. 1st time experience them live in concert. Amazing how od work thru all languages and I have really been bless thru the concert. Highlights :- Draw near to GOD, SMILE, FORGIVE, GOD loves YOU, GOD loves ME, I love you cause God love you. Sounds funny as its suppose to be in Chinese. Praise in the Desert is thier lastest CD, theme taken from 2 Corinthians!!! All i can say its amazing and go experience it yourself, they come EVERY year too. Heres there official webbie for you ppl. After the concert which ended about 10pm, I called Joel CHAN for supper. I know both WX and he are attending BSF and end class at 915pm. The concert was held at the church beside Joel house only, time and place all so nice therefore FEAST. The standard at 85 market, meatball noodle, pork porridge, bbq wings, stingray, fried oyster. Lucky no order Tang Yuan for desert!!!

WOW, its been some time since I last planned a camp. Challenging I would say as many aspects of the camp were not confirmed till quite last minute. Well, I guess all things when well and most people enjoyed the camp (hope so, correct me if I'm wrong!!!). God has been doubly good to me as I am in charged of the logistics. So many thing that were needed but not foreseen by me has been provided in His grace. One thing that I can only say is God provides for all circumstances. I was always thinking of bringing the projector BUT forgot the screen. In the end, I was panicking as no projections can be done without the screen. Was pacing round the chalet for a solution, lo and behold, I found a bag containing a big white bed sheet and 2 pillow case placed in front of our chalet by dunno who. Tied up the bed sheet and using the pillowcases as the "string", God is amazing as He provides for His people. Not just that, the laptop that we originally wanted to use was accidentally taken back by Samuel that night, MOO to the rescue! The fingerprint lock was quite irritating though. All in all, lets just give thanks to our Lord who provides.

Well, now I am in church after unpacking the logistics and washing up the remainder stuff from the cooking competition at the camp. Was chased out as we were late in checking out. Now the church leaders are having their Core Leader Meeting while I sit here blogging. David Liu, 2nd bro of Daniel Liu is beside me and I am glad to seen how much he have grown spiritually since he was young. By having dinner and chit chatting with him also cause me to see God providence in his life as well, (those who know him will know).

Well, that will be all for this post. Will update my song of the week soon as I am not blogging from home. See all you campers at next week dinner at Pasir Ris Pond.

IS IT POSSIBLE???

Yeaps, procrastination once again!!! No excuses but was preparing for the upcoming youth camp this weekend. So many things not yet settled so everybody is quite unsettled. Well, its timely to remind myself of the message from combine worship; DEEP CALM.

Well, this week I am busy with work and planning for the youth camp. Highlight of the week was SOYMILK cell. Its been some time since we went to the west for cell already, but the amazing thing is that only 2 out of the whole group are westerner. Daniel last minute say go Bukit Timah Hill for cell, I was like DUH. I went cell after work so dressing was so damn inappropriate. Had cell up the hill and had a nice accountability time with Kevin. As per norm, we start late and ended late, therefore trek down bukit timah hill in the dark. Not just that, SOYMILK being SOYMILK, sang down the hill. Was an experience that I don't think will be forgotten.

Was thinking of what song to update yesterday. Someone commented the songs I normally chose are the slow emo songs. So for a change, "ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE". But the main reason why I chose this song was like the doubt that S A Tan like to place in our head. IS IT POSSIBLE??? Is it possible to be the light and salt in this broken and condemn world? Is it possible to overcome habitual sin of many years? Is it possible to overcome our character flaw? So many more qns that I believe you people have come across. So maybe its a timely reminder that in Christ all things are indeed possible. We may not feel or see it in a tangible sense but it is a fact and a promise that God have given us. May we all, including myself learn to trust God and let Him use our potential to the fullest.

For now, back to mulling over the stuff for youth camp!!! Those can come, see you this weekend.

Got update hor... ...

Everything looks the same rite. Updated the song in case u all see the same stuff and think that there is no updates. Been using this Hillsong CD for this 2 week, have sung both during Lord supper with Joel and Joann, so have a deep impression. They are 1 track after the other. Well, lazy to upload another CD pic, so yea play cheat a bit.

Been another busy weekend. Friday started with work, after that came back home to pack my stuff for the stayover @ BCOC for the weekend. Rush to airport to fetch Joeru back from Japan, ate Swensen's for dinner as a whole grp. 1145pm back at BCOC to RELAX, REFLECT and RECHARGE. We unpacked and make ourselves comfortable amd watch the movie "Nativity". Slept at 3 AM, wake up at 7 AM to go WORK. Sad rite... ...

Before work, both Kevin and me went MAC for b'fast as the rest continue to snooze before their Devo. Had a really good time of honest sharing, crapping and remembering our internship in CM. Chat a bit more then off to work. After work, it rain, so the grp cancel their trip to pasir ris park. SO since its canceled I went back home to rest before attending my poly friend friend wedding at night. After dinner, my poly friend drove me back to BCOC. Manage to catch the last pt of Joeru devo and more singing. After singing, get 2gather for the owls who can't sleep so early. Had a good time of honest sharing. Esp with nickwoot who I have not seen for some time. PRESS ON bro... ... Slept 3+ AGAIN ! ! !

Woke up at 7 AM again, wash up and got changed for worship later on. Had breakfast with Kevin and Andris at the coffeeshop opp bcoc. Worship was INDESCRIBABLE. One of the better if not the best combined worship so far. Led by Joshua and Joeru, word by guest speaker Randy. Main point, with CHRIST in all situation, we can have the peace the CALM assurance of Christ our Lord, our Blessed Lord. After church went starbucks with my grp of young adults to chill out. I knock out on the comfy sofa for an hour or so. DIAO! ! !

More Tennis as per past week, the French Open - Roland Garros was one of the GLAM SLAM of tennis. EXCITING, today men's final was quite one sided, so therefore uploading song and blogging away at the same time. Formula racing in 1/2 hr, so another late night.

Well, got tonnes of photos and videos that Moo took during the retreat. With my cam, so pictures will be up soon I hope, so much fun while I was at WORK/home, sigh ! ! ! They reaaly relax, reflect and recharge, GOD is GREAT... ... Highlight for this stayover/retreat is both my b'fast time with my ex-interns in CM.

RECCE MISSION ! ! !

WA, some one say I no update... ... Well, I SHALL blog AFTER updating my song of the week. AND here goes.

Been a very tiring two days for me. Saturady morning work till 5+pm as my estate got the Annual General Meeting in the afternoon. Rush down to Vivo city to meet up with Joel Chan and Clement for Dinner and some shopping. Had Indian food and 3 of us brought a shirt each. All of us got from the same shop as 3 shirt less 30% and free lifetime membership from DOMANCHI. All of us quite like the shirt there, so you know the results!!! Reach home 1130pm, watch Behind Emeny Lines and then proceed to sleep.

Had b'fast with Clement, he very suay one. Last week wanted to have Tom Yam Maggi with me, but he leading chinese worship, will be late cannot. This week, all OK except that auntie no Tom Yam Stock that day, so he had seafood instead of tom yum. Me had my BIG bowl of porridge as usual. Sunday service, Joel led this week. Finally we sang the song that Joann wrote, for the 2nd time since last year retreat at Batam where Joann and Joel intro the song to the church.

Busy busy afternoon, we went recce for the amazing race for the upcoming Geylang youth camp. No details as it will spoil the fun for those coming. Went to so many places and took some photos, not posting it as it will be a advantage for those going hee hee. Had a good dinner near my house with Joel, Clem, WX and Samuel. For all the hard work we pampered ourselves to curry fish head and many more stuffs.

Back home, updated my song of the week, suddenly one comment POP up. Movitated to blog la, if not later kena suan again!!!

Spritually very dry also, sigh... ...

The Hwa Chong Choir rocks, this year got more variety as compared to last year. "A Basque Lullaby" is my fav piece. Only bad stuff is some LATE comers don't know concert etiquette & disturb the pieces. Overall 9 out of 10... ... Keep it up!!!

15th May

Wonderful time of fellowship, physically full too. The food is awesome and whatever that is serve on our table we shall go Yes Lord, Yes Lord, Yes Yes Lord... Thats why the song of (last) week. We ordered a specially concocted cocktail of rum, lime and a few other stuffs. After all the OIL in our system, Joeru had Earl Grey while I had Eng. B'fast tea to flush it all the way down. Mervin talk so much bout coming back with his friends while we savour the food. 9 out of 10... ...

19th/21st May

May not have known Zhi Xiong very well, but the death of such a close relation must have affected him in one way or another. Got to know him better these 2 days as compared to years that I have since known him. Dunno good or bad, but no words can describe the event. No ratings.

20th May

Went running with my sister on the night itself. She came back so late from work that we ran till 930pm. So dinner was at like 10pm, "hew maak". But yea we training for the half marathon in Aug. 6 out of 10... ...

23rd May

Cai Ma Ma, Clement grandmother and long time member of GCOC was hospitalise. Leg infection, nothing major. She is 86 years of age already, but she still have the Joy of the Lord written all over her face despite all the tubes inserted into her, PAINFUL. Even the staff nurse noticed it, IMPRESSED!!! Rating 10 out of 10... ...

24th May

Went to Melinda B'day bash at night, but b4 that we went shopping to get her pressie. We got her an album, scrapbook style as she likes to design her stuffs. Food was good for catering standard. Veron had like 10 Chocolate Éclairs, FATTENING. She can afford it la, so no issues!!! Gracie SCREAMED into my ear as am insect flew onto our table, her voice ROCKS!!!

Also not forgetting our Lord, lets continue to let our heart be the home for our Lord.

I doubt any of you heard of this singer before, he does not even belong to my era. I only got to know him when I work for Hosanna Intergrity Music Aisa in my secondary school days (11 years back). Its was during that time that I brought tonnes of CDs and therefore my "collection". His songs all reflects a part of his own life and this week song of the week will be his "conversion" song. Good News, Bad News ! ! !

Well, I have to agree with Daniel Liu that Paul's Tan sermon are getting better by the week. Thats the title for his sermon last sunday. But its only one statement. "WE ARE RICH," thats BOTH the good news as well as the bad. Thot provoking and learning a lot bout life and God.

Cell last Saturday was cool, more or less set the pace for the next phase of SOYMILK. Will have to continue to seek the Spirit guiding as we move along in this next phase.

Went bowling with Mervin last sunday night. Surprise that after a year plus of not bowling, I manage to maintain my standard. Improve score for every game, something that never happened before, normally score got up and down. Played four games and reached home bout midnight to catch the 2nd half of Liverpool soccer match. Liverpool won, YEA... ...

Lost In Thots... ...

Hi hi, been more than a week since I have updated my blog. Sorry to dissappoint some people. Anyway, here a summary of the week.

From last SOYMILK cell, we all were all ask to pray for the direction and goals for cell. Many thots, hope by this week meeting we can have some conclusion and move on rather than running in circles. This coming sat we will be meeting at Andris new house for cell and its in the WEST of Singapore, so most likely bunking over at MOO house as per norm. Pray that the Spirit of God will lead and guide us in all that we do. Like I say many thots, so brain is heavy. God been speaking thru a few sources namely thru Danny HAN sermon (thats explain the song of the week)and QT. Will share in cell I guess.

Brain is heavy there need lots of food to beef up resources. Been eating quite a bit this week. Last sat met up with Kelly, Daniel Mum, Joyce, Joel & WX for a mini food trail along Geylang and East Coast. We had Beef Hor Fun and Frog Legs at Lor 09. Tau Huey, You Tiao, Sao Bing & Gou Tie at Lor 27A, lastly had CHEESECAKE and tea at upp east coast rd. Daniel was reluctent to try the frog's leg but loved it after we bug him to try.

Sunday church and sermon by Danny HAN. More DOTA session for the young adults and choir for the youths. Diverse interest I guess. Met up with Joel Osboure, Kevin Kon and Mervin for dinner at MARCHE' vivo city. Another big meal which include 21 items, too lazy to list it all down. Pocket did not burn as much as I thot. Had a good time sharing all the diff food items and chatted for quite some time. Had a good time laughing and enjoying each other company, and the joke bout the "butt" by Joel was ... ... We also share our dream holiday and all.

Before the 2 BIG meal I did my part in excercising OK. I ran twice during the week, 1st was bout 12km(tue) the other 18km(fri). Basically ran from my house at Pasir Ris > Tampines > Bedok Res Park > Tampines > Home Sweet Home. Tue was till Bedok res Park as I know my body was not in tip top condition. Why so onz U all may ask, well ans is my sister and I have signed up for this year Army Half Marathon 21km on the 24Aug 2008. But I think the runs I had cannot cover all the calories I gain lei, sigh!!!

Nothing major happen during work and all is well with me so far.

Another week gone by without any updates... ...

Last Thursday had dinner with Joel Osbourne near BCOC again, he never fail to inspire and encourage me. Talk about a lot of things, from our life to work to church to people to cell and FOOD too. Had a enjoyable time and really learn a lot.

Friday night went out with my young adult grp to bugis fish and co. for dinner. Clement, WX, Jonathan, Mabel + Bf, Dawn, Eunice, Joyce, Jolin, Me and of course birthday boy Joel Chan. Yup the staff at Fish and co did the silly b'day gig for all b'day customer, he took it in his stride as usual. Photos hope to upload soon. Ah Chew desert at seah street after dinner and SURPRISE my relative's family were there too. Next up is games galore at Dawn's house but in the end we play Blokus only as we were all not in the mood. We had a nice little chat till 3am in the end. Off to WX house to stay over.

Saturday morning had Roti Prata with WX and walked to WORK. Ended work ay 1pm and walk to my poly friend house who was found to be with Liver cancer. Had lunch at his house and talk a bit while waiting for the other poly mates to come by. Best thing to do while waiting is sleep lor. Supper at "cut sicissor cut" at Jalan Besar and Terence drove me back for my week dose of BPL.

Sunday, worship per normal. Young Adult time after church, Dota per norm. Dinner at Bugis again, this time Ma Mansion. After that home sweet home and watched my beloved liverpool trash blackburn 3-1. SLEEP SLEEP SLEEP

Monday work and back blogging.

If you survived the top mundane things here is the thing. I deeply thank God for all the people that God had place around me and how they have touch my life in one way or another. Thank God that I have Brothers around me that I can share freely and deeply with. Many things to think and do these past week, mainly SOYMILK and church. So much to think and do yet so little time is given over to God in prayer.

Anyway, enough before I myself fall asleep.

Sorry all for the late update. Have been very busy at work since I been back from the amazing Cambodia trip - AOF 2. Have been clearing all the junk that has pile up during my absence at work, super busy but still able to cope.

Have been listening to songs by the group called "The Offering", one of the singer is Joel Osbourne who is currently base in Singapore as a missionary. Well, he is one BIG humourous & talented guy who is WALKING in Christ image. Have been deeply encouraged by him in many ways or another from the time I knew him. Let's us all who are in the family of God continue to walk down this path 2gather and not just in Cambodia.

Brother Qi Xiang will be flying off tomorrow night and will miss this brother of mine. Flying off to Japan to study, hope he get to watch liverpool there as well !!!

I had a tiring but fruitful day. Made a few records today but it is not something to be proud of. Fruitful because I first attended Bedok COC early easter devo at bedok reservior, witness another amazing sunrise. Followed by easter service at BCOC, then rush down to Moulmein COC for Ryan baptism. After the baptism rush back to Geylang COC to usher another babe in Christ-Qi Xiang. But as GCOC has no baptism pool, so back to BCOC for the day 2nd baptism. After all the hype, we had lunch at the hawker centre for the whole group. Pool was the agenda for the afternoon and we opened a record of 3 pool tables. After the workout we walked to Suntec Kenny Roger for our dinner. Good meal but the fellowship of the young working adults were simply awesome. Joel, Clement, Wx, Veron, Me and extra Mervin had a hearty meal and honest chat. Laugh our heart out before the soccer gang came over my house to watch soccer. Result don't want to mention. Last but not least blogging and updating the song of the week!!! Enjoy.

Back from Cambodia already. Thank God for all things that went well, there's no major illnesses or such as compared to last year or so I heard. Maybe a few minor hip-up like Master Kon losing his passport till he reach Cambodia immgration point, Shermaine swollen ankle, Mervin and Aaron got "lost" in the market, Cheryl losing her lovely hat, blah blah blah... ...

Well, there are just too many things to share bout the trip, dunno where to start. One of the thing that struck me there and then was the sand that "stick" to your legs day in day out!!! We wore slippers everywhere and the roads were all filled with SAND. When we washed our feet, the water litereally change colour. This song that I knew 10+ years back struck me instantly. Its bout the famous passage where CHRIST washed the feet of the disciples in the olden days. We are all so privilege in Singapore the I never knew the extend of it till now. So song of the week will be this song titled "The Basin & The Towel" by Michael Card.

Too many photos and videos taken during the trip. I took 700++ myself, Jeremoo 2000++ and Aaron Wong 234 shots, all the rest dunno how many more. God goodness never end and I hope to complie and sort them out as soon as I can to share God goodness with all of you. Ok that will be all for now, very very tired. Accumulative lack of sleep finally caught up with me. Slept on the train back from work till I needed a kind samaritian to wake me up at Pasir Ris MRT. Will be sleeping early I HOPE!!!

Time files, few weeks back we all were just planning for the Cambodia trip and now its just 9 hours before the plane lift off for Siam Reap, Cambodia. Been looking foward to this trip for quite some time, seen last year photos of those who went and was amazed by how the street kids was touched and all. More so hearing life changing testimonials and the amazing international lauguage of music/singing. All trips will be different and I won't expect this trip to be exactly the same as the previous year. All I ask is to go with a heart expecting to see God power at work in the lives of all those around.

Well, actually I am taking a break from packing my luggage by updating my blog. I better go and finish packing before I have to rush and that will equate to missing stuffs... ... Enjoy the song of the week.

Church in the morning followed by our Cambodia trip briefing at BCOC. Discussed many issues and settle most of the critical stuff. Choir after that and Jamming session at Mervin house in the late evening. Finally got to see Mervin drums 1st hand and we played many songs but we are currently trying to master "Light of the World" & "Shine Jesus Shine. Very uplifting time of praising our Lord and Saviour. Below is his drum set.

After work, went to get my digital camera at Suntec IT fair. It was so crowded that I just brought what I wanted and left the place, did not even bother to browse around. Took less than 20mins to purchase my stuff. Got the Cannon IXUS 860IS, main reason that I brought this model is because of the wide angle lens. Good for grp shots and indoor shooting, video recording can also ise the zoom funtion. Happy with it. After that met WX for dinner at Xin Wang Cafe for HK noodles. Came home play Dota with WX online... ...

After work went to SGH visit my Poly mate Ann Ping. My MRT kaki during my poly days as he stays in Tampines. Was so surprised to see so much the hospital have changed. The famous open area is now claded up in glass panel and was used as an exhibit hall. Went to Upp Thomson for my fav mushroom cheese prata at Prata House for supper with my long lost Poly mates after the vistation. Home sweet home and blogging away.

Well, I'm back... ... ...

Had a very nice dinner with Joel Osborne on thursday night. Reason for meeting is that I have to pass the CD + Book to Kevin Kon via him. Which means I will miss cell for this coming week because of work commitment, sigh. But I am really glad that grab the oppotunity to had dinner with Joel. We really had a good chat, talking from our life, our family, his missionary journey and issues of the church. Hyper encouraging lor.

Saturday, I have to work half day and return during in the evening for some function held on the estate that I am managing. So I have a few hours free in the afternoon. Call Josh and Evan out to play pool as I knew they both be around the area. After that both of them went to their respective cell and I went to Tec-man to buy a bible. My prev bible got "drown" in my bag. Another unexpected blessing from God, saw 2 GCOC church member who I never talk more than 10 lines in church. Well, I seldom blog about my work and most of you people also know bits and pieces only. Anyway, my job title is Condo Executive. Job scope is basically estate mamagement, taking care of the condo. Making sure everything in the estate is running smoothly, eg swimming pool, lifts, landscaping, fire alarm system and etc etc. One more thing, making sure that the estate is clean and free from DIAPERS(below) that ppl throw out of their window. DOTZ...

BTW, I say fruitful week because God has been good (more than just the discount, yea). Been thinking bout last sat msg bout our "mission" in life. More or less sorted out the focus of my life and must start to praying for Cambodia Misson trip liao.

Settler's Cafe

Sunday after church, my kakis and I finally went to Settler's cafe to make use of our voucher that Clement won during last Holloween @ an event organised by Settlers named OP's Black. Yes its been months but better late than never rite!!! Lost the group photo that we took there last holloween though. Played for two hours with two different games. Both games I played before though, "Settlers of Catan" & "Ticket to Ride". As usual someone SPILLED a drink, norm already!!!

I'm back and very piss off... ... Just on the TV and saw Barnsley score the winning goal against LIVERPOOL in the 5th round of the FA cup. LAST KICK OF THE GAME somemore. Anyway its over, and I shall not dwell on it.

In Phil 4:8, Apostle Paul said Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. So no more dwelling on the lost of Liverpool but think of what is good. Youth Worship is one such example. God has been good, MOST thing went well as plan though. And for the unplanned God always has a more beautiful picture. Those who know the FOOD was way LATE. But usual la, Geylang impromtu-ness to put it nicely, crudely put last min lor. But all went well and God as our valentine is the msg.

Well, I promised to update my song very week. But realised its not as simple as it look. FILE REJECTED, sigh!!! The file size of the song I converted was too big. If you people have any idea, please tell me how to solve this problem, if not I will have to make do with very limited selection. Got time go internet search for the above song. Nothing much on that day. Went visiting to one relative who just moved back to Singapore from Austrailla. Had a nice long chat over lasagne and coffee and that lasted the whole afternoon. Uncle fetch my family back and did not have dinner, tea was FILLING. EPL (soccer) for the night.

Church in the morning, tim sum for lunch. After that went to play pool with Mervin at our usual hunt. Played for a few hours seeing who rack up nine games 1st, I won 9-7... ... Aaron chip in a few games in b/w to ease tension :D. After pool Aaron went to meet his friends while Mervin and me went to visit aunty Lilian and Jia Ni. I chatted with aunty Lilian while the other two JAM on the paino. In the end we played Blackjack and Mervin wipe me out. Dinner with two of them at

Time Flies... ....

Sigh, just when I switch over to blogspot, my cbox also down. Dunno what happen... ...

Anyway times really flies, the first two day of Lunar New Year have gone by liao. My reunion dinner at expo is good but I shall not blast the blog with food again. Just the "Lo Hei" will do. 1st day of CNY is exactly like any other year. Only diff this year is my uncle lent me his lorry to drive to church since he be visiting me later in the day and timing was just rite after church mini reunion. Visit visit visit all the same old houses with my uncle lorry as per norm. Surprising thing of the year is that we actually did not "open table" on the 1st day this year if u get what I mean.

More visiting on the 2nd day and in the evening me and my sister went JOGGING. Yes u saw it correctly. Me and sister jogged to my uncle house in Tampines, took us 25mins only, light workout before the hot and steamy steamboat dinner at my uncle house. This time yea we open a "small table".

Third day already and here I am blogging before more visitation... ...

New Years Eve... ...

Yes its the new year once again, and please don't ask me when was my last blog post. Decided to switch my blog server from Live Journal to Blogspot is to include the chat box function. So long no blog liao, brain freeze!!! Anyway the blog is still under construction so plz give your comments so I can improve. Now I can say I update daily, must come read the verse everyday ok. HAHA, I know thats lame.

New years eve is slightly different for me this time around. My uncle book dinner for both our family at Singapore Expo "Fu Man Lou". No more hot and sweaty steamboat but a 8 course dinner fully air-conditioned.

That will be all for now I guess, still clearing up my room halfway. Leaving at 7pm, hope will have update on it. See ya all around and a whishing you all a prosperous CNY.
