Fruitful Week

Well, I'm back... ... ...

Had a very nice dinner with Joel Osborne on thursday night. Reason for meeting is that I have to pass the CD + Book to Kevin Kon via him. Which means I will miss cell for this coming week because of work commitment, sigh. But I am really glad that grab the oppotunity to had dinner with Joel. We really had a good chat, talking from our life, our family, his missionary journey and issues of the church. Hyper encouraging lor.

Saturday, I have to work half day and return during in the evening for some function held on the estate that I am managing. So I have a few hours free in the afternoon. Call Josh and Evan out to play pool as I knew they both be around the area. After that both of them went to their respective cell and I went to Tec-man to buy a bible. My prev bible got "drown" in my bag. Another unexpected blessing from God, saw 2 GCOC church member who I never talk more than 10 lines in church. My Tac-man card expire already so got to borrow theirs and save more than 20+ dollars. My new bible :D


Well, I seldom blog about my work and most of you people also know bits and pieces only. Anyway, my job title is Condo Executive. Job scope is basically estate mamagement, taking care of the condo. Making sure everything in the estate is running smoothly, eg swimming pool, lifts, landscaping, fire alarm system and etc etc. One more thing, making sure that the estate is clean and free from DIAPERS(below) that ppl throw out of their window. DOTZ...
















BTW, I say fruitful week because God has been good (more than just the discount, yea). Been thinking bout last sat msg bout our "mission" in life. More or less sorted out the focus of my life and must start to praying for Cambodia Misson trip liao.

Settler's Cafe

Sunday after church, my kakis and I finally went to Settler's cafe to make use of our voucher that Clement won during last Holloween @ an event organised by Settlers named OP's Black. Yes its been months but better late than never rite!!! Lost the group photo that we took there last holloween though. Played for two hours with two different games. Both games I played before though, "Settlers of Catan" & "Ticket to Ride". As usual someone SPILLED a drink, norm already!!!

Here We Are

I'm back and very piss off... ... Just on the TV and saw Barnsley score the winning goal against LIVERPOOL in the 5th round of the FA cup. LAST KICK OF THE GAME somemore. Anyway its over, and I shall not dwell on it.

In Phil 4:8, Apostle Paul said Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. So no more dwelling on the lost of Liverpool but think of what is good. Youth Worship is one such example. God has been good, MOST thing went well as plan though. And for the unplanned God always has a more beautiful picture. Those who know the FOOD was way LATE. But usual la, Geylang impromtu-ness to put it nicely, crudely put last min lor. But all went well and God as our valentine is the msg.

Well, I promised to update my song very week. But realised its not as simple as it look. FILE REJECTED, sigh!!! The file size of the song I converted was too big. Wanted to let all you people hear "Redeemer, Saviour, Friend" by Women of Faith. If you people have any idea, please tell me how to solve this problem, if not I will have to make do with very limited selection. Got time go internet search for the above song. Post CNY... ...

Hi, in a wink the CNY is over and here what happen during the weekend...

Nothing much on that day. Went visiting to one relative who just moved back to Singapore from Austrailla. Had a nice long chat over lasagne and coffee and that lasted the whole afternoon. Uncle fetch my family back and did not have dinner, tea was FILLING. EPL (soccer) for the night.

Church in the morning, tim sum for lunch. After that went to play pool with Mervin at our usual hunt. Played for a few hours seeing who rack up nine games 1st, I won 9-7... ... Aaron chip in a few games in b/w to ease tension :D. After pool Aaron went to meet his friends while Mervin and me went to visit aunty Lilian and Jia Ni. I chatted with aunty Lilian while the other two JAM on the paino. In the end we played Blackjack and Mervin wipe me out. Dinner with two of them at
After dinner Mervin came over my house to watch soccer, WX join us for the Liv match. Liverpool rox.

A day of two choices. Suppose to go for Sheena and Shermaine Concert at SIM but got company dinner that night. No choice but to forfeit my concert tickets and went to Mong Hing Teochew Restaurant. Time Flies... ....

Sigh, just when I switch over to blogspot, my cbox also down. Dunno what happen... ...

Anyway times really flies, the first two day of Lunar New Year have gone by liao. My reunion dinner at expo is good but I shall not blast the blog with food again. Just the "Lo Hei" will do. 1st day of CNY is exactly like any other year. Only diff this year is my uncle lent me his lorry to drive to church since he be visiting me later in the day and timing was just rite after church mini reunion. Visit visit visit all the same old houses with my uncle lorry as per norm. Surprising thing of the year is that we actually did not "open table" on the 1st day this year if u get what I mean.

More visiting on the 2nd day and in the evening me and my sister went JOGGING. Yes u saw it correctly. Me and sister jogged to my uncle house in Tampines, took us 25mins only, light workout before the hot and steamy steamboat dinner at my uncle house. This time yea we open a "small table".

Third day already and here I am blogging before more visitation... ...

New Years Eve... ...

Yes its the new year once again, and please don't ask me when was my last blog post. Decided to switch my blog server from Live Journal to Blogspot is to include the chat box function. So long no blog liao, brain freeze!!! Anyway the blog is still under construction so plz give your comments so I can improve. Now I can say I update daily, must come read the verse everyday ok. HAHA, I know thats lame.

New years eve is slightly different for me this time around. My uncle book dinner for both our family at Singapore Expo "Fu Man Lou". No more hot and sweaty steamboat but a 8 course dinner fully air-conditioned.

That will be all for now I guess, still clearing up my room halfway. Leaving at 7pm, hope will have update on it. See ya all around and a whishing you all a prosperous CNY.
