BUSY MAAK ! ! !

Sorry all for the late update. Have been very busy at work since I been back from the amazing Cambodia trip - AOF 2. Have been clearing all the junk that has pile up during my absence at work, super busy but still able to cope.

Have been listening to songs by the group called "The Offering", one of the singer is Joel Osbourne who is currently base in Singapore as a missionary. Well, he is one BIG humourous & talented guy who is WALKING in Christ image. Have been deeply encouraged by him in many ways or another from the time I knew him. Let's us all who are in the family of God continue to walk down this path 2gather and not just in Cambodia.

Brother Qi Xiang will be flying off tomorrow night and will miss this brother of mine. Flying off to Japan to study, hope he get to watch liverpool there as well !!!

Just Let Me Say


I had a tiring but fruitful day. Made a few records today but it is not something to be proud of. Fruitful because I first attended Bedok COC early easter devo at bedok reservior, witness another amazing sunrise. Followed by easter service at BCOC, then rush down to Moulmein COC for Ryan baptism. After the baptism rush back to Geylang COC to usher another babe in Christ-Qi Xiang. But as GCOC has no baptism pool, so back to BCOC for the day 2nd baptism. After all the hype, we had lunch at the hawker centre for the whole group. Pool was the agenda for the afternoon and we opened a record of 3 pool tables. After the workout we walked to Suntec Kenny Roger for our dinner. Good meal but the fellowship of the young working adults were simply awesome. Joel, Clement, Wx, Veron, Me and extra Mervin had a hearty meal and honest chat. Laugh our heart out before the soccer gang came over my house to watch soccer. Result don't want to mention. Last but not least blogging and updating the song of the week!!! Enjoy.

Sandy feet... ...

Back from Cambodia already. Thank God for all things that went well, there's no major illnesses or such as compared to last year or so I heard. Maybe a few minor hip-up like Master Kon losing his passport till he reach Cambodia immgration point, Shermaine swollen ankle, Mervin and Aaron got "lost" in the market, Cheryl losing her lovely hat, blah blah blah... ...

Well, there are just too many things to share bout the trip, dunno where to start. One of the thing that struck me there and then was the sand that "stick" to your legs day in day out!!! We wore slippers everywhere and the roads were all filled with SAND. When we washed our feet, the water litereally change colour. This song that I knew 10+ years back struck me instantly. Its bout the famous passage where CHRIST washed the feet of the disciples in the olden days. We are all so privilege in Singapore the I never knew the extend of it till now. So song of the week will be this song titled "The Basin & The Towel" by Michael Card.

Too many photos and videos taken during the trip. I took 700++ myself, Jeremoo 2000++ and Aaron Wong 234 shots, all the rest dunno how many more. God goodness never end and I hope to complie and sort them out as soon as I can to share God goodness with all of you. Videos are more than 100MB so cannot upload, come my house view if you all want too, haha.

Ok that will be all for now, very very tired. Accumulative lack of sleep finally caught up with me. Slept on the train back from work till I needed a kind samaritian to wake me up at Pasir Ris MRT. Will be sleeping early I HOPE!!!

CAMBODIA, here I come ! ! !

Time files, few weeks back we all were just planning for the Cambodia trip and now its just 9 hours before the plane lift off for Siam Reap, Cambodia. Been looking foward to this trip for quite some time, seen last year photos of those who went and was amazed by how the street kids was touched and all. More so hearing life changing testimonials and the amazing international lauguage of music/singing. All trips will be different and I won't expect this trip to be exactly the same as the previous year. All I ask is to go with a heart expecting to see God power at work in the lives of all those around.

Well, actually I am taking a break from packing my luggage by updating my blog. I better go and finish packing before I have to rush and that will equate to missing stuffs... ... Enjoy the song of the week.

2nd March 2008
Church in the morning followed by our Cambodia trip briefing at BCOC. Discussed many issues and settle most of the critical stuff. Choir after that and Jamming session at Mervin house in the late evening. Finally got to see Mervin drums 1st hand and we played many songs but we are currently trying to master "Light of the World" & "Shine Jesus Shine. Very uplifting time of praising our Lord and Saviour. Below is his drum set.

After work, went for cell group at Aunty Helen place. We continued from Rick Warren series on the book of James. After cell went to airport terminal 2 to meet Daniel for a time of feasting and sharing. Below are what TWO of us ate at Swensen's.

After work, went to get my digital camera at Suntec IT fair. It was so crowded that I just brought what I wanted and left the place, did not even bother to browse around. Took less than 20mins to purchase my stuff. Got the Cannon IXUS 860IS, main reason that I brought this model is because of the wide angle lens. Good for grp shots and indoor shooting, video recording can also ise the zoom funtion. Happy with it. After that met WX for dinner at Xin Wang Cafe for HK noodles. Came home play Dota with WX online... ...

After work went to SGH visit my Poly mate Ann Ping. My MRT kaki during my poly days as he stays in Tampines. Was so surprised to see so much the hospital have changed. The famous open area is now claded up in glass panel and was used as an exhibit hall. Went to Upp Thomson for my fav mushroom cheese prata at Prata House for supper with my long lost Poly mates after the vistation. Home sweet home and blogging away.
